A poem by Pat Ingoldsby

I'm reading Pat Ingoldsbys book ''I'm out there''
And i ove his poems so I though I'd share one with you all, Remember he's irish so think of the dialect if you can ... It brings me back to dubin so easy just reading a line of two from him. Here it comes:

THANX MAMMY

A little girl
walking with her ma
struggling with her jeans
trying to hoist them up fully.
Her mammy took a firm grip
on eash side of them
raised her of the ground
and shook her down inside.
